The Thrive Sisters Program at Universal Islamic Academy is an Online unique and empowering space for adult Muslim women (19+) to deepen their Islamic knowledge, connect with like-minded sisters, and foster personal and spiritual growth.
We understand the diverse roles and responsibilities women hold, and this program is designed to provide relevant, engaging, and supportive learning that fits into your life.
The Thrive Sisters Program is more than just an educational course; it's a journey of self-discovery and empowerment within a supportive sisterhood.
We focus on:
Providing relevant Islamic knowledge that addresses the unique needs and experiences of women.

Empowering women to become confident, knowledgeable, and active members of their communities.
The Thrive Sisters is divided into three stages, each with three grades (total 9 grades). Each grade is further divided into 2 levels, with each level lasting 3 months.
The entire program is completed in approximately 4.5 years, including a one-week break and in-person activities (If applicable) at the end of each level.
To progress to the next level, students must achieve a score of 80% or higher on the level exam and actively participate in in-person activities. Each level concludes with a passing ceremony to celebrate student achievement.
Our curriculum is carefully crafted to address the needs and interests of adult Muslim women, covering a range of essential Islamic topics.
Qur’an: Memorization, reading.
Qur’an Studies: Tafsir, understanding, and application for women
Hadith: Learning the sayings and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), Focusing on relevant Hadith for women's roles and responsibilities.
Islamic Ethics and Etiquettes: Building strong moral character and manners.
Prophet Muhammad’s Biography (Seerah): Understanding the life of the Prophet (ﷺ).
Companions’ Biographies: Learning from the lives of the Sahabah (Companions) & Women Companions.
Jurisprudence of Worship (Fiqh) & Fiqh al-Nisa' (Women's Fiqh) : Gaining knowledge of Islamic rulings and practices. In-depth study of rulings related to women's lives .
Belief and Faith (Aqedah): Strengthening belief in Allah and understanding the principles of Islamic faith.
Personal Development: Time management, communication, and leadership skills from an Islamic perspective."
Family and Community: Strengthening family relationships and contributing to the community. Addressing modern challenges faced by Muslim women with Islamic guidance.
Arabic Language: Reading, writing, and understanding Arabic to access the Qur’an and other Islamic texts.
